This course provides an internationally recognized qualification in Business IGCSE that aims to develop a comprehensive understanding of business concepts and terminology in various contexts, including international markets. The course familiarizes students with real-life scenarios and examples of business terminology, enabling them to acquire business ideas, skills, and concepts in-depth. The course provides a solid foundation in key business concepts such as finance, production, stakeholders, types of businesses, expansion, innovation, and roles within a business. The course consists of five modules, each containing an assessment to test and reinforce student knowledge and understanding. As a result, students have the best chance of obtaining an IGCSE qualification flexibly and affordably.

The Business EnvironmentThis module covers the different goals of a business, changes in business environments, and criteria for assessing success. The emphasis is on the significance of having clear business objectives and how the business environment provides opportunities for, and imposes constraints upon, achieving these objectives.Human Resources and TrainingThis section explores people in organizations, with a focus on their roles, relationships, and management in business.Business PerformanceThis module delves into the utilization of accounting and financial information as a means of decision making.Marketing and AdvertisingThis module concentrates on recognizing and fulfilling customer needs in a dynamic and competitive international environment.ProductionThis module investigates how organizations utilize and manage resources to produce goods and services. |
If you want to take the Edexcel IGCSE Business Studies (4BS1) qualification exam, you need to book your place at an exam center about six months before the exam date.The exam center could be a private center or a school/college that is also submitting its own students for the exam.Edexcel provides a list of exam centers that accept private candidates, but it may not cover every available center. So, if you don’t find one in your area, it’s best to contact local schools and colleges directly.Note that exam fees are not included in the course cost, and you need to pay them directly to the exam center. The fees will vary depending on the center you choose. |
After completing this course, students will have a strong foundation and fundamental knowledge in Business. They can further develop their business skills by enrolling in other courses, such as Level 4&5 Business and Management. This course can lead to job roles in business such as Managers, Marketers, Sales team members, Sales analysts, and Product management. |

Upon completing this course, students will now have the foundations and fundamental knowledge needed to develop their Business skills further. This could be through enrolling in another one of our business-related courses, such as Level 4&5 Business and Management. The typical age at which people choose to complete the IGCES’s is 14 to 16, but anyone over the age of 14 can enrol onto this course. You also do not need any previous qualifications to be eligible for this course.
